Elmwood boys sweep through Glenwood City tournament
The Elmwood High School boys basketball team had no problems winning both of its games at the Glenwood City Holiday Tournament.
GLENWOOD CITY - The Elmwood High School boys basketball team had no problems winning both of its games at the Glenwood City Holiday Tournament.
Elmwood downed St. Croix Falls 78-52 Thursday and beat Chippewa Falls McDonell 72-52 Friday. The Raiders now have a 7-1 record.
The Raiders scored 46 points in the first half against the Saints' 26. Elmwood had three players in double figures led by Kyle Webb's 20 points, Levi Wolf's season-high 17 points and Logan Wolf's 16 points, eight assists and 11 rebounds.
Logan Wolf led all scorers against McDonell with 26 points, Webb finished wqith 14 and Tom LaFlex had a season-high 15 points. The Raiders scored 26 points in the second quarter to lead the Macks 45-24 at halftime.
Elmwood hosts St. Croix Central next Friday.
