Gopher pucksters blank Air Force, set up showdown with BC in Mariucci Classic

MINNEAPOLIS - No. 4 ranked Minnesota will get its shot at No. 1 Boston College after beating Air Force Saturday evening 4-0 in the Mariucci Classic tournament.

The two top-ranked teams will face each other tonight at 7:05 at Mariucci Arena. BC downed Alabama-Huntsville 5-2 in the other tournament semifinal as head coach Jerry York won his 925th game.

The Golden Gophers got goals from Erik Haula, Ryan Reilly, Kyle Rau and Nate Condon. Nick Bjugstad had two assists. Winning goalie Adam Wilcox made 18 saves as the Gophers outshot the Falcons 33-18.
