Western Wisconsin News-- Baby boys outnumber girls at Mayo Clinic Health System in western Wisconsin in 2012. Liam and Aubrey top baby names.
EAU CLAIRE –– In 2012, baby boys outnumbered baby girls born at Mayo Clinic Health System locations in northwest Wisconsin: As of the morning of Dec. 27, the tally was:
· Barron: 109 babies — 51 girls, 57 boys and one set of twins.
· Eau Claire: 1,067 babies — 520 girls, 547 boys and 11 sets of twins.
· Menomonie: 314 babies — 161 boys, 153 girls and no twins.
Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire and Menomonie tracked popular baby names. The lists include some old favorites (Samuel, Ava) and some new contenders (Easton, Harper).
Liam and Aubrey were top baby names for each gender respectively.
