Tonight in wrestling there's a big dual meet to start the Dunn-St. Croix Conference schedule as No. 7 Spring Valley/Elmwood travels to No. 6 ranked Glenwood City. Also wrestling tonight Prescott hosts Durand in Middle Border Conference action. No. 3 ranked Ellsworth is off so they can gear-up for the Cheesehead Invitational in Kaukauna Friday and Saturday.
Prescott's wrestling team will also be in a weekend tournament as they make their debut in the Burnsville, Minn. Tournament Saturday .
Girls basketball action tonight features D-SC clubs as Elmwood is at Spring Valley while Plum City is at Elk Mound.
Friday's boys hoops' feature game is Prescott at Durand in the MBC. The Panthers are unbeaten so far at 8-0 and ranked No. 10 in the state while Prescott is 5-2 coming off a title at the South St. Paul, Minn. Holiday Tournament.
Also playing Friday are county D-SC clubs Spring Valley at Plum City and Elmwood hosting St. Croix Central. Ellsworth will be in action as well as they travel to Somerset.
Elmwood comes into their match-up having broken into the Division 5 rankings in the latest Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association/Wissports.net poll. The Raiders are ranked No. 9 in the state.
All basketball tip-offs are at 7:30 p.m. while all wrestling dual meets begin at 7 p.m.
