ELLSWORTH SCHOOL DISTRICT: 1/14/13 School Board Meeting

NOTICE OF MEETING:

The Ellsworth Community School District Board of Education will meet on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the Ellsworth High School Library. The agenda: ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Veteran’s Day speakers, Student Council update. OLD BUSINESS-ACTION: Approval of December 10, 2012 special school board meeting minutes, Approval of December 10, 2012 school board meeting minutes, Approval of the District financial report and payment of bills for December 2012. NEW BUSINESS- ACTION: Auditor report, Personnel report, Band trip proposal, Designation of open enrollment space availability, 2013-2014 school year calendar, Set date for RFP review, Set date for interviews of potential construction managers. NEW BUSINESS- DISCUSSION: Character Education program. SUPER-INTENDENT’S REPORT. The meeting will convene to closed session as authorized by State Statute 19.85 (1)(c)& (f) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility and to give preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems. The school board will return to open session and take action on closed session items if necessary.
