In a short meeting in open session, the Ellsworth Village Board Monday unanimously approved renewal of a village ordinance for ATV routes in village limits to Dec. 31.
Board members also unanimously approved contributing $200 to the Ellsworth High School Senior Grad Nite, a Health, License and Welfare Committee recommendation to approve an agent change for the Holiday Station Store, and a Salary and Labor Committee recommendation to approve the revised village personnel handbook.
The board heard a report from the Salary and Labor Committee on its approval early last month of a two percent raise for all non-union employees. Board members also heard an update from a recent meeting of the village’s Library Board on efforts for fundraising for a building project. They also heard Village Building Inspector Galen Seipel will not be raising his fees this year.
The board went into closed session to deal with the wastewater treatment plant construction and a land interest in the East End Industrial Park. Members returned to open session and took no action.
