Minnesota Sports-- Officials at Minnesota State University-Mankato say they'll a national search for a new football coach to replace Todd Hoffner.
MANKATO, Minn. -- Officials at Minnesota State University-Mankato say they'll a national search for a new football coach to replace Todd Hoffner.
He was stripped of that job late last month after being cleared of child pornography charges. Assistant Coach Aaron Keen will serve as interim football coach at Minnesota State.
The union which represents faculty members has filed a grievance challenging Hoffner's suspension.

The University of Minnesota men's basketball team leaves tomorrow for its Wednesday night game at Illinois. Minnesota is 14-1 after knocking off Northwestern last night, 69-51. Minnesota forward Trevor Mbakwe says playing at Illinois on Wednesday and then taking on Indiana on the road on Saturday will be a challenge. But, the St. Paul native says they have faith that they can win both games.
