Superior police looking phony cop

SUPERIOR - Police in Superior are looking for one of their own that isn't one of their own.

A man who was pulled over by someone who identified himself as "Officer Darg" told investigators that the apparently fake cop was wearing a Superior Police Department baseball cap and a navy blue T-shirt with an "SPD" logo. The witness didn't see a badge or a gun, but says the man was driving a blue car, possibly a Chevrolet Lumina, with blue-and-red flashing lights on the dashboard. The driver cooperated with the man and was released.

Superior police do not have an "Officer Darg" on the force and say they have no record of any officer making the traffic stop.
