Plum City boys win first game of season
The Plum City High School will not go winless this season as some may have feared. The Blue Devils picked up their first win by a 39-36 score over St. Croix Central Thursday.
PLUM CITY - The Plum City High School will not go winless this season and some may have feared. The Blue Devils picked up their first win by a 39-36 score over St. Croix Central Thursday.
Trailing 27-24 at the end of the the third quarter, PC played its best basketball of the season in the fourth as they outscored the Panthers 15-9 for the decisive run to win.
A pair of sophomores led PC in scoring as Alex Boyer finished with 13 points and Austin Coss had 10.
Both squads are 1-10 in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference. PC is 1-13 overall. They'll have good shot at win No. 2 next Tuesday at home vs. Glenwood City, part of a three-game homestand.
