Special legislative elections being held today
Minnesota News-- Voters in Saint Peter and the surrounding area are voting today to narrow the field of candidates running for the Minnesota House District 19-A seat vacated by Democrat Terry Morrow.
ST. PETER, Minn. - Voters in Saint Peter and the surrounding area are voting today to narrow the field of candidates running for the Minnesota House District 19-A seat vacated by Democrat Terry Morrow.
Four DFLers are running in the special primary: Robin Courrier, Clark Johnson, Karl Johnson and Timothy Strand. The winner will face Republican Allen Quist and Independence candidate Tim Gieseke in the February 12th special election.
Voters in the Saint Cloud area also go to the polls today to choose a state representative in District 14-A to replace Republican Steve Gottwalt, who resigned.
