MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota womens' basketball teams crushed Michigan Thursday evening 82-67 at Williams Arena.

Rachel Banham, a sophomore, scored a season-high 32 points to lead the Gophers to their 14th win on the season. Banham was 11-of-14 from the field, nailed six three-points and was 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

Also in double figures scoring for the Golden Gophers, 14-8 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten, were Michaella Riche with 15 points and Sari Noga had 10 points. Shayne Mullaney made eight assists for the U.

Minnesota's next game is at Nebraska on Sunday starting at 2 p.m.
