Elmwood man, son die in weekend crash
MENOMONIE -- Dunn County authorities have identified a father and son killed in a weekend crash on Highway 29. The sheriff's department said William Larrieu, 57, of Elmwood and Joshua Larrieu, 30, of Menomonie both died in the two-vehicle collision.

The sheriff's department said William Larrieu, 57, of Elmwood and Joshua Larrieu, 30, of Menomonie both died in the two-vehicle collision.
Deputies said a car driven by Joshua Larrieu crossed a centerline, and was hit on the passenger side by an eastbound sport utility vehicle. The driver of the SUV, Jean A. Kulzer, 52, Menomonie was taken to a hospital. She was wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened just before midnight Saturday on Highway 29 in the town of Lucas.
Authorities said both men were not wearing seat-belts, and alcohol appeared to be a factor.
The crash remains under investigation.
