PLUM CITY--Ave Maria Academy of Plum City had a busy schedule for Catholic Schools Week.
The week started off with Hat Day on Monday. The students also made edible sculptures inspired by the Logo of Raising the Standards and the bar chart that was displayed.
Snow and ice canceled school on Tuesday, so the students missed out on Dressing up for Holy Mass. The students were excited to return to school on Wednesday to enjoy a sledding party and being able to wear their favorite scarf all day.
Thursday was Wacky Sock Day and all of the students took part in a “Jeopardy” game. The students had some tough questions and they all did a great job.
The week concluded with students wearing jerseys and taking part in Teacher/Student swap day. The students helped with lesson plans and had fun planning classes for their teachers and classmates.
The academy is a private school in Plum City, teaching in the Catholic Traditions, and is open to students from three-year-old Preschool through eighth grade. Call (715) 647-4630 for more information.
