Infinite Campus was awarded the $15-million contract for a computer system that will let school officials around the state get information about any student in Wisconsin public and charter schools. Skyward of Stevens Point said it should have won the contract, and it filed a challenge today with the Walker administration.
Skyward said its proposal would cost the state less, and there were financial factors that the state didn’t consider. Infinite Campus released a score-sheet which showed how it was given the highest technical score in the bidding process – and how it claimed the lowest cost.
Meanwhile, there have been reports that Infinite Campus has had financial ties to Governor Scott Walker and other Wisconsin politicians – and the firm denied it.
