MILWAUKEE - A spokesperson at General Mitchell International Airport says flight cancellations caused by the huge storm blanketing the Northeast could last into next week.

It isn’t clear if flights will be back on the usual time schedule by Monday. A couple dozen flights out of Milwaukee to destinations like Boston and New York were canceled yesterday.

Several airlines were handing out weather waivers to passengers whose flights never took. The waivers allow those passenger to reschedule without paying fees for changing. O’Hare International Airport in Chicago had 223 flights canceled yesterday.
