PIERCE COUNTY AD HOC COMMITTEE MEETING -

Thursday, February 21, 2013 – 9:00 a.m., Courthouse – County Board Room, 414 W. Main St., Ellsworth, WI 54011 AGENDA: 1. Call to order: 1a. Establish quorum, 1b. Approve agenda;

2. Discuss/take action on minutes of 2/4/2013; 3. Committee will receive public comment not related to agenda items; 4. Discuss insurance issues related to the Pierce County jail with John Dirkse from Aegis/Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Company; 5. Discuss jail issues with District Attorney Froelich; 6. Discuss jail impact on judicial system with Judge Boles; 7. Committee will convene into closed session pursuant to Sec. 19.85(1)(g) Wis. Stats. for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved: legal advice of counsel regarding jail issues;

8. Committee will return to open session and take action on closed session item, if required; 9. Future agenda items; 10. Next meeting date; 11. Adjourn.
