All eight Number-One seeds were victorious, including defending champion Green Bay Notre Dame. Defenseman Scott Ford is returning to the Milwaukee Admirals. He was traded yesterday to the Admirals’ parent National Hockey League team in Nashville. The Predators sent forward Jani Lajunen to Saint Louis in exchange for the 33-year-old Ford, who was immediately assigned to Milwaukee. Ford was the Admirals’ captain last season, and he has played in 279 games with Milwaukee. The 22-year-old Lajunen had one goal and four assists with the Admirals this season.
