PRESCOTT--Two restorative justice programs have teamed to provide a session for crime victims, suicide survivors, and those who support and help victims heal.
On Thursday, Feb. 28, the St. Croix Valley Restorative Justice Program (SCVRJP) and Hastings (Minn.) Restorative Justice Council (HRJC) will provide an informational and educational session open to the public and free of charge.
The session is part of the Restorative Response program at SCVRJP. Restorative Response provides support after sudden, preventable and tragic loss, specifically for survivors of suicide, homicide, traffic fatality or sudden death.
Stepping out for support isn’t easy. Consider inviting someone to this session and offering to attend. There is no commitment or expectation on attendees. Information will be provided by survivors and speakers for SCVRJP. The session will focus on the journey from victim to survivor and then thrivor.
RSVPs are requested so handouts, space and refreshments can be prepared. If interested in learning more or attending the session, contact Kris Miner at SCVRJP by calling 715-425-1100 or emailing scvrjp@gmail.com.
