Elmwood's regional semifinal today against Alma/Pepin
The WIAA Division 5 boys basketball regional semifinal contest between Elmwood and Alma/Pepin has been postponed until Saturday afternoon.
The WIAA Division 5 boys basketball regional semifinal contest between Elmwood and Alma/Pepin is set for a Saturday afternoon tip-off.
The game was to be played Friday night but school closings at Alma and Pepin moved the game to Saturday with the tip-off at 3 p.m. in Elmwood. The regional final will be played on Monday at 7 p.m. at the highest remaining seed.
Elmwood (19-4) is the No. 1 seed while the Eagles (11-11) are the No. 9 seed.
No. 4 seeded Eleva-Strum defeated No. 5 Greenwood 66-50 at Central last night setting up Monday's regional final at the highest remaining seed.
