Dodge, Meixner advance for Trenton board chair

Results from Tuesday’s primary election have been announced.
In Pierce County, four candidates were seeking the Town of Trenton Board chair’s position being vacated by incumbent Richard Bunce.
Doug Dodge and Daniel D. Meixner received the top numbers of votes, with 92 and 71, respectively, and will advance to the spring election on Tuesday, April 2. The other two candidates were Gary Lien, who got 58 votes, and Mike Miller, 30 votes.
Statewide, three candidates were after the available seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, currently held by Justice Pat Roggensack.
Roggensack, who is running, will now face Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone in the April 2 general election after they were the two top vote getters Tuesday. Vince Megna, a lawyer, was a distant third in primary election voting.
