LRIP (TRID) 290TH STREET TO CTH CC, 390TH AVENUE

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Town of Salem, N3599 CTH A, Ellsworth, WI 54011 until 1:00 p.m., March 18, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the following items in the approximate quantities indicated:

Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and according to the Contract Documents prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. dated February 1, 2013.

The Bidding Documents may be seen at the issuing office of Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. located at 421 Frenette Drive, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.

Paper copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. located at 421 Frenette Drive, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 for a fee of $25.

Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bids shall be directed to the Town Clerk at the address below securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, “BID FOR LRIP (TRID) 290TH STREET TO CTH CC, 390TH AVENUE, TOWN OF SALEM, PIERCE COUNTY.”

Contractors on the project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages and labor standards as determined by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development Wage Rate Determination.

The Town of Salem reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Town of Salem.
