Company Janisch worked for fined by OSHA
The company an Ellsworth man worked for when he was electrocuted last September was fined more than $448,000 by the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
According to an article from the Thursday, Feb. 28, Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Highway Technologies, Inc., was fined more than $448,000 and cited with 10 violations from the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration that lead to the death of Joseph Janisch last September.
Janisch died September 17, when equipment he was using while installing signs and guardrails for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation near Menomonie contacted overhead power lines.
He worked for the Minneapolis branch of the Houston-based Highway Technologies, the article said.
