PHOENIX - All of Wisconsin’s NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers will be in action this weekend in Phoenix.
The Subway Fresh-Fit 500 will be run on Sunday. Matt Kenseth of Cambridge hopes to recover after his transmission problems knocked him out early at last week’s Daytona-500. Paul Menard of Eau Claire is also entered, along with Travis Kvapil of Janesville and Beloit-born Danica Patrick.
The Nationwide Series is also racing in Phoenix. Kenseth is the only Wisconsin driver entered for the Dollar General-200 tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Johnny Sauter of Necedah will have to wait awhile to go for his second straight Camping World Truck race victory. Sauter won last week’s race at Daytona, but the truck circuit is now off until April 6th at Martinsville, Virginia.
