CHICAGO - Ryan Evans led the way with 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots as Wisconsin upended Indiana in the semifinal round of the Big Ten Conference Men's Basketball Tournament. Final score was 68-56.

The number-three ranked Hoosiers clawed their way to within a point at 50-49 with a little less than 10 minutes to go, but the Badgers outscored them 18-7 the rest of the way. Ben Brust scored a dozen points for a Badger team which is getting hot at the right time, winning three in a row and six out of the last eight games. Jared Berggren and Sam Decker scored 11 points apiece.

It was the 12th straight time Wisconsin had beaten Indiana and may have done some damage to Hoosier hopes for being a number-one overall seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament. The only other team with that many wins in a row over the Hoosiers is Purdue and that winning streak was from 1904-1910.

The Badgers take their 23-10 record into today’s conference tournament championship game against Ohio State. Tipoff is at 2:30 p.m. This is Wisconsin's first Big Ten Tournament title game since they last won it in 2008.
