Container gardening class offered
Master gardener Colleen Gifford Foxwell will present an educational program on gardening in containers at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at the River Falls Public Library.

Topics covered at this free presentation include: Choosing containers; selecting growing mixture; picking suitable plants; maintaining gardening containers; library resources available; and how to become a master gardener
Gifford Foxwell’s most recent gardening project has been collaboration between HeadStart, Salvation Army’s Serenity House, UW-Extension and WIC to create a community garden outside the county library.
