Summer concerts continue, "Chill" Tuesday, July 19

The UW-River Falls annual Summer Concert Series, “Chill on the Hill,” continues with a concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, at the Melvin Wall Amphitheatre, located on campus along the South Fork of the Kinnickinnic River.

The concert will feature New Primitives performing reggae/dunk music.

All concerts are free and open to the public with grilled food, beverages, Falcon Foods ice cream and Rush River beer available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and may pack a picnic, but carry-in alcohol is not permitted.

In the case of rain, this event will be held in the Abbott Concert Hall of the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building at UW-River Falls.

The River Falls Community Arts Base summertime Music in the Park series continues with concerts from 7-9 p.m. Fridays and 3-5 p.m. Saturdays.

All the concerts are in Veterans Park, where audience members are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs, or sit on the low limestone walls featured in the park.

The concerts are free and open to the public.

Friday night, July 22, will feature the musical duo named Patchouli. Saturday afternoon’s concert will feature Sue West performing acoustic folk and Americana folk.
