Warden's report: State's deer season brings out best- and worst in hunters

Wisconsin's nine-day gun deer season was the safest on record and yielded a large harvest but the state's chief warden says hunters don't appear willing to work as hard for their prey, still bait heavily and within a decade, we'll have fewer hunters than today.

Driver dies after traveling unusual path into Hudson Tourism Center

The driver of a sport utility vehicle, eastbound on Crest View Drive, lost control and ran twice through the freeway fence and struck a parked car before rolling and coming to rest on the sidewalk of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism visitor center. Chin T. Khaw, 50, of Hudson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
