Bird Banding at Carpenter Nature Center

Bird lovers can get an up close look at songbirds and watch experts "bird band" or record them to they can learn how long the birds live, where they migrate to and when and many other interesting facts in this "bird banding" display are the Carpenter Nature Center in Hastings Friday, July 25. The Carpenter Center has been banding birds for the past 26 years and does so weekly. The public is invited to watch on the fourth Friday of each month. Please call ahead (651) 437-4359.
