The future Miss America
Laura Kaeppeler of Kenosha was crowned Miss America in Las Vegas on Saturday Jan. 14. The former Miss Wisconsin visited River Falls in October 2011 for the parade held before the Little East West Shrine homecoming game played against UW-Whitewater. The parade also featured Grand Marshal Colin Schone of Glenwood City.
