Walter R. Jakes, 83, of Maiden Rock, Wis., died at his home on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Funeral services for Walter will be 2 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth. Burial of cremated remains will be in the Maiden Rock Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 1-4.p.m. on Sunday at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth and for one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, assisting the family with arrangements.
