Elmwood, Spring Valley-PC win openers over Pepin

Elmwood baseball team and Spring Valley-Plum City's softball team won their season openers Monday at Pepin. Both squads used the long ball to secure their wins, 9-8 for Spring Valley-Plum City and 10-1 for Elmwood.
