At the century mark
The Ellsworth Care Center has shared a little history about Marion Anderson, age 100. Anderson was born on a farm in Ellsworth Township and attended the Freier School and then Ellsworth High School, where she graduated Valedictorian of her class. She lived on a farm most of her life and enjoyed the farm work. She would tell you “Faith in God, hard work, exercise and good food” would be the secret to longevity. Anderson turned 100-years-old on Dec. 9 and is currently residing at the care center.
