Prescott holds on to South Division lead in SCVL
Prescott’s grip on the South Division of the St. Croix Valley League was challenged this past weekend by Elmwood. But the Pirates stayed in first thanks to a sweep of the twinbill by scores of 6-2 and 9-8 at Firehall Field. The Expos came into Sunday’s doubleheader off a 3-2 extra innings win over Plum City Saturday afternoon while Prescott was beaten 10-3 at home by Menomonie, also Saturday afternoon.
