Letter: USPS is bargain, must be saved
TO THE EDITOR: Six days a week letter carriers traverse 4 million miles carrying an average of 563 pieces of mail, reaching doorsteps in every community in America. They ride snowmobiles to reach iced-in villages, fly bush planes into wilderness areas that have no roads and run mail boats out to remote islands in places like Maine and Washington state.By: Ray Anderson, River Falls, Pierce County Herald
