Hubbers rout Everest, make it semifinals
Everest was considered one of the favorites for the Wisconsin Baseball Association State Tournament title. But the Ellsworth Hubbers made short work of the Merchants, winning 9-1 in the final quarterfinal game of the WBA tournament Saturday afternoon.
