A groundbreaking ceremony for the new location of Shaw Family Dental in Ellsworth was held Thursday. Dr. Krisan Shaw and several of her staffers handled shovels while Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce members and village officials gathered to congratulate the business during the event. The new building is under construction at the corner of Highland Drive and Lucas Lane in the Crossing Meadows addition on the village’s northwest side. Completion is expected around the end of this year. Dr. Shaw came to the community five years ago and her dental office is currently housed on Kinne Street.
