Bob Hallock of the Ellsworth Lions Club watched Friday as one of many donors added to the contents of his kettle as a Salvation Army bell ringer at Hinck’s Economart. The morning shift Hallock served featured bright blue skies and not-too-cold temperatures, besides a generous public. Bell ringers will be stationed at business places in Pierce County from now through Christmas Eve Day, hoping to collectively meet an area goal of approximately $35,000 for Salvation Army causes, including assistance to the needy year-around.
