Receiving his certificate of award in the Americanism essay contest was Tyler Niebur of Plum City High School. The contest is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Niebur was among the top winners in the country, receiving best essay for grades 9-10 in the Midwest Division. He is the son of Kevin and Deline Niebur of Plum City. He was presented the award by Verna Weiss, Americanism chairperson for the Auxiliary Unit #365 in Plum City.
