Allison Pazdernik, a third grader at St. Francis School in Ellsworth, was presented a medallion Thursday for her efforts in the La Crosse Diocese’s Christmas poster contest. Pazdernik took first place locally and third place at the diocese level with her entry. Mike Hines, left, and Jeremy Brenner, right, of Ellsworth’s Knights of Columbus chapter made the presentation.
