Burt Trok, Past Master and long-time Mason of Ellsworth, was named Mason of the Year at the Hancock Lodge and Eastern Star Chapter Awards Banquet on May 18 at the Masonic Center in Ellsworth. Trok is shown with, left to right, Dan Sherry, chair of the event, John Reinkey, 50-year member, and Dr. E.R. Jonas, last year’s Mason of the Year. In addition, Trok was recognized for marking his 50-year membership. He and his wife were also celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
