A ribbon-cutting ceremony at Freier’s Comfort by Design in East Ellsworth was conducted by the local chamber of commerce Friday. Gabe and Jill Reid took over as owners of the electric, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing business from Scott and Betty Freier in April. Chamber members gathered around to wish the Reids well as Gabe prepared to cut the ribbon.
