The Ellsworth Baseball Association generously donated $195 to the American Cancer Society (ACS) Run Walk of Pierce County-Ellsworth. For 25 years, members of the Pierce County community have gathered to walk or run 3.5 miles and raise funds for the ACS, the "official sponsor of birthdays." This year’s Ellsworth community Run Walk will be held Friday, July 20, at the Pierce County Fairgrounds, with registration at 6 p.m., picnic dinner at 6:30 p.m., kids walk at 7 p.m., walk/run at 7:30 p.m. and luminaria ceremony at 9:30 p.m. Free will donation picnic dinner is being donated by Bo’s-N-Mine of River Falls.
