Progress is being made on a 36-by-40 foot addition to the northwest end of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, east of Ellsworth at the intersection of Hwys. 63, 72 and CTH DD. Red Wing Construction is the general contractor for the project, which church officials earlier this spring hoped can be completed by November. It will contain the pastor’s office, administrative offices and an overflow for the Narthex, plus Sunday School rooms, handicapped accessible bathrooms and an elevator. A car port, new entrance and expanded parking lot are also part of the improvements.
