Justin Townsend, Homestead County Park manager, explains the type of Eurasian milfoil that weevils crave. The weeds are being harvested at Perch Lake between Somerset and Hudson and sent to Eau Claire to feed to weevils, which will eventually be placed in the lake so they can eat away at the milfoil population.
