Several route marker signs along Hwy. 10-63 into Ellsworth from the east display a misleading emblem when it comes to the 63 part of each sign. Both 10 and 63 are U.S. highways, but while the “shield” around the Hwy. 10 part correctly represents the U.S., its counterpart around the 63 portion is actually a state “shield” and would suggest that is a state highway. These replacement signs were recently installed, supplied by the state’s Department of Transportation.
