Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) role models representing Wisconsin met in Rothschild at the state DARE Conference last month. The role models representing different parts of the state worked on a community project: painting a bridge. Chloe Spriggle from Ellsworth is the state DARE youth representative. The state DARE youth board is made up of approximately 14 other high school students from throughout the state who are dedicated to assisting youth in making safe and responsible choices. From left to right are: Marcus Sonnenberg from Manitowoc, Alli O’Connell from Ellsworth, Daren the DARE Lion, Spriggle and Courtney Orpen from Prescott.
