The final Welcome to Prescott sign has been installed at the entrance to Prescott from Hwy. 35. Each year for the past three years, the Prescott Daze committee has used its proceeds to purchase the signs. The first one was installed on Hwy. 10 by Sundial Storage and the second sign was located by the Welcome and Heritage Center at the entrance from Minnesota. The committee has also purchased the pedestrian crossing cones located around town. “As a member of the committee and a sponsor of Prescott Daze,” said Char Magee from Prescott Insurance, “it is nice to see that on years there are profits the committee can find ways to make enhancements to the community.”
