At the Oct. 8 Ellsworth School Board meeting, Middle School Physical Education Teacher Mary Wild gave a presentation on the new archery equipment she has been able to purchase due to the generous donations of many different businesses and organizations. Pictured are Larry and Peggy Hoyer, along with Wild. The Hoyers donated $250 to the archery program on behalf of the Pierce/St. Croix County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Inc. Also donating over $1,000 to the program were Greg Andrews of Andrews Archery, Pierce County Archery, and Scott Brunner Trucking. Appreciation goes to all who donated toward the purchase of this equipment--it is a wonderful learning tool for the students. The archery equipment is used during phy ed classes, and there is also an Archery Club meeting on Mondays after school.
