A work crew from Kaufhold’s Kurds in Ellsworth was making construction progress on an addition to the business’ building behind Kollbaum Chiropractic on the village’s north side along N. Maple Street (Hwy. 65) last week. The addition measures approximately 44-by-48 feet and includes an eight-by-20 foot freezer. There will be a hip roof on its northwest section, and the expanded main section’s new and existing portions will be connected by a new roof. A storage trailer on the property was removed to make way for the expansion at the cheese curd product distributor’s headquarters.
