Brazzale

Jason Brazzale, Prescott High School Biology Teacher, spoke to the Prescott Kiwanis Club December 13 on the theme of taking education outside the classroom. Brazzale explained his love of volunteerism came from his parents as he grew up in the Stevens Point area. “They installed into me getting involved in the community,” he said. Among the topics he discussed was the High School fishing team, made up of 17 members, most of those whose only extracurricular activity is that, which as a result students have to take on leadership roles. Brazzale also thanked community volunteers for their help as they had to drive the fishing boats, for example. The noted fisherman joked its work for him as he has to fish. Prior to Brazzale’s speech, Marcus Nelson was honored as the Student of the Week. Nelson is part of the Ski Club and also enjoys snowboarding and snowmobiling.
